Workshops and Speeches 

Through our partnership with HandsOn Hong Kong, the Youth and Politics Volunteering Team is honoured to take part in The Amber Foundation’s Toiletries Project. Our team assisted in organising and auditing donations of hygiene products, toys, books, and food, which were then distributed to local charities such as Mother’s Choice and Impact Hong Kong.

This Chinese New Year, our Y.A.P. volunteers had the honour of continuing their work with The Amber Foundation to support its Toiletries Project. The Team assisted in assembling toiletry packs, which will be distributed to local charitable organisations for further allocation to individuals in need.

This week, the Y.A.P. Volunteer Team continued their collaboration with The Amber Foundation to pack and organise toiletries for those in need. Across the past two sessions, the team successfully assembled over 400 toiletry bags!

On Friday, the Y.A.P. Volunteer Team continued its collaboration with the Amber Foundation HK. This session, our volunteers assisted in organising hygiene donations from The Ordinary and successfully assembled over 200 male hygiene kits. 🫧🧼

Continuing their impactful work with The Amber Foundation HK, the Y.A.P. Volunteer Team recently spent time prepping donated soaps. By cutting and wrapping these essentials, they helped create toiletry bags that will be distributed to support local charities and vulnerable communities.

This Saturday, the Y.A.P. Volunteer Team teamed up with Crossroads Foundation to assist with their warehouse logistics. Our volunteers played a key role in managing incoming donations and organising furniture. We are proud of the team’s hard work and their commitment to supporting Crossroads' mission of connecting people in need with the goods that can help them. 🧺

This weekend, Y.A.P. volunteers spent mothers day helping local single mothers sell handmade earrings at the Discovery Bay Market. These mothers rely on earring sales to pay for their children’s education as they are unable to find jobs. ​

Today is day 1 of the "Our Home, Our Hong Kong" workshop! Our Y.A.P. senior leaders and team hosted a workshop in collaboration with the Zubin Foundation to help children learn about Hong Kong and its culture.

Our second session of the "Our Home, Our Hong Kong" workshop has been completed. Over the course of these two workshops, the Y.A.P Senior Team Leaders and team had the privilege of working with 24 children, aged 3 to 12, from a wide range of cultural backgrounds!

On Thursday, the Youth and Politics Volunteering Team spent the morning helping out in the maintenance and household department at Global Crossroads Village! 🪣 🪑​

On Friday, the Youth and Politics Volunteering Team volunteered with Breadline to collect and transport bread donations from bakeries in Hang Hau and Tsim Sha Tsui! 

- 31 July 2026

On Friday night, the Y.A.P. Volunteer Team joined Breadline on a bread run, collecting leftover bread from the Saint Honore Bakery in Yau Tong!​
